SUPPORT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN
When positive behavior supports are implemented in early learning settings we can anticipate greater outcomes for all children. They will learn peer interaction skills, problem solving skills and have friends. When they succeed in Social Emotional health and have a sense of safety and belonging, they will thrive academically as well.
The secret is the implementation of a school wide PBIS. (Sometimes referred to as the teaching Pyramid or pyramid model) It is a 3 tiered intentional support system to benefit all children in the classroom.
WHY PBIS?
